Shenzhou 10 tracking log

First day signals - June 12, 2013

Houston, Texas - Mark Severance

Tiangong-1

0037-0040 UT: Signals on 2232.215 MHz and 2250.720 MHz. Subcarriers could be seen near the time-of-closest approach at 75 deg elevation.

Shenzhou-10

0046-0053 UT: Signals on 2208.72 MHz and 2224.069 MHz. 2224.069 MHz was very strong with a beautiful spectrum at the time-of-closest approach.  2208.72 was much weaker and only the main carrier could be seen.

1653-1702 UT. Both signals (2208.720 MHz and 2224.069 MHz) were very strong on this northbound pass straight over Houston. There were subcarriers clearly visible also on the 2208.720 MHz signal.

Honolulu, Hawaii - Richard Flagg

Tiangong-1

0513-0516 UT: Signals on 2232.215 MHz and 2250.720 MHz. In the spectrogram below the 2232 MHz signal appears first and then the 2250 MHz signal. They merge seamlessly.

Shenzhou-10

0522 UT - ... :Very strong signal on 2224.069 MHz.

2130.12-2134.15 UT. Very strong signals on 2208.720 MHz. Subcarriers at +/- 390 kHz and at +/- 100 kHz (approx) and at +/- 10 kHz
