The name plaque of King Carl XVI Gustaf
of Sweden
During a visit to the Swedish Space
Corpration in the summer of 1996 His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden
wrote his name with a felt pen on a small
brass plate
that was installed on the Astrid-2 satellite
. The King's name was engraved into the plate following the
outline of the felt-pen. The pictures below show plate itself and its location
on the satellite: The anti-sun side of the spacecraft.
